Just as the areas of expertise that support user experience design become fully realized, UX as a singular practice will cease to exist. Instead of Conquest, War, Famine and Death on horseback, it’ll be developers, marketers and stakeholders charging in. And we’ll be there inviting them over for drinks and fish tacos.

There’s no sense white-knuckling the digital design world we’ve been painstakingly building since the dawn of the commercial Web. Brothers and sisters, a new age is upon us, a world where everybody actually is a designer and where pixels are only part of what we all design. We’ll talk about why these new times are as inevitable as they are scary. We’ll discuss how best to go forth, unblinking, towards the bright light that is the future of user experience work.
